FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS IN PORTUGUESE

Talking about our family is one of the most common activities we do in our lives. For this reason, it’s important for Portuguese language students to know the words that describe the different family relationships in Portuguese.

PRO TIP: If you’re learning Portuguese and want to talk about your family, it’s also important to know the possessive pronouns well. It’s difficult to describe our family without knowing and using words like “o meu = my,” “o nosso = our,” “a minha = my”… Make sure you also spend some time with our possessive pronoun list.
