The third and final category of regular verbs in the present tense is the regular verbs ending in -IR. It is never too much to reinforce the importance of regular verbs. As I always tell my Portuguese students, it is impossible to progress in the Portuguese language if the conjugation of regular verbs is not well-consolidated.
We have chosen the verb “PARTIR” as an example. This verb in English has two meanings, namely: “to depart” and “to break.”
