I went to a different school for A1 and I cannot emphasize the quality difference between that and The Lisbon Language Cafe. The approach is structured, the environment is relaxed and friendly, the class sizes small and I actually feel like I am making progress in this difficult (for a native English speaker) language. Thanks Frederico! naseem g2024-12-13Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 100% recommend! The easiest way to learn European Portuguese (from someone who has tried Talk the Streets, Practice Portuguese, and had a private tutor). Frederico makes language learning easy, approachable, and attainable. He’s got realistic expectations and a good sense of humor. If you’re thinking about taking one of his classes, contact him now because he’s got a waitlist. Amira Sami2024-12-13Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was very lucky to take this course with Frederico. The lessons were designed in a simple, clear manner. Frederico’ interactive method in class kept us focused and interested. He prioritized the important words, sentence structures, grammar that were necessary to know at that stage, reinforcing it with many exercises. The website is also great and very informative. He expressed a genuine interest in our culture which made the class all the more interesting as we learned to talk about our country, family and habits IN PORTUGUESE! 😊. I knew Portuguese was not simple but now I am in love with it and will go on until I’ve mastered it ( wishful thinking I know😊). I especially appreciated the 5 mins short documentaries about must-see towns and cities in this amazing country, that he showed us at the end of each lesson. Thank you Frederico and see you in A2! Frederico is knowledgeable and engaging, and he consistently let us know what we should focus on in order to function in Portuguese. I received a great basic education in Portuguese in three weeks, and I now feel that I have the foundation necessary to move on to the A-2 level without difficulty. All this was achieved without vast amounts of memorization. I'm so glad that I took Portuguese from Lisbon Language Cafe. He provides a very structured course in an inviting learning environment that puts you on the right track to understanding the Portuguese language. I previously took the free Português Língua de Acolhimento - PLA A1/A2 course and to put it shortly it was a disaster. After experiencing both of these classes I wish I had of just started with Lisbon Language cafe as soon as I moved here! 😅 Les Chaffin2024-10-21Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
