NO! Not all podcasts in Portuguese are useful for improving your Portuguese. They should be appropriate and tailored to your level of Portuguese, and written by Portuguese language teachers for foreign learners. Why? Because the podcasts (texts) should include the vocabulary and proper GRAMMATICAL STRUCTURES for each level. If you’ve already tried some online Portuguese learning platforms and encountered difficulties in understanding, it’s likely because those podcasts (texts) were poorly designed and probably created by individuals who have never taught the Portuguese language.
WHO SHOULD LISTEN TO A1 LEVEL PODCASTS?
A1 level podcasts should be listened to by Portuguese language students after completing A1.1 level and until finishing A2 level. Our experience tells us that during the learning of A1.1 level, students should be focused on understanding Portuguese grammar, sounds, and the essential pillars of the Portuguese language (regular verbs, the 4 most important irregular verbs, among other content).
