IS READING IMPORTANT TO IMPROVE MY PORTUGUESE?
Reading is an essential activity that allows for learning new vocabulary and consolidating the grammatical structures of the Portuguese language.
ARE ALL TEXTS IN PORTUGUESE GOOD FOR IMPROVING MY PORTUGUESE?
The answer is no. The texts that students read should match their proficiency level. An A1-level student should read texts prepared for A1 learners. A2-level students should read texts designed and structured for that level, and so on. Books that were not written with specific teaching and learning objectives are not a good option for those looking to improve their Portuguese.
